BVK - Made in Braunschweig | Germany
Schimmel is proud to be one of only 6 manufacturers that has received the BVK 'Made in Germany' Certification for their pianos, the highest mark of distinction that may be awarded to a piano manufacturer by the Bundesverband Klavier e.V. (Association of German Piano Manufacturers).
As an assurance of the finest quality, the BVK certification gives prospective customers worldwide the reassurance that they are investing in an instrument which truly encapsulates the prestige of a German product and all the qualities they stand for - namely, the art of engineering as well as innovation, design, craftsmanship and, of course, reliability.
In the Schimmel workshop in Braunschweig, instruments of excellent quality are manufactured on the basis of consummate ability and passion. Braunschweig is also the home of our employees and their families; It is their artisan skills and attention to detail which have developed over the decades to form the foundations for the manufacture of state-of-the-art pianos.
